Virtual Snow Festival
VIRTUAL SNOW FESTIVAL is a collaborative art
project about making a snow sculpture. Participants are elementary school children, junior high school students, high school students, their teachers and all poeple who are interested in this project.
We have a web conference so that you can show and see images of snow sculpture you create or think in your minds. Therefore, we can share some ideas and have a discussion on the Internet interactively.
Some people living in the northan country are usually going to take part in this project to make a real snow sculpture because they have much snow and know how to make one.
But others not living with much snow in the winter and also not knowing how to make can participate in this project to show their ideas and have some discussions on the net.
Finaly we will make a real snow sculpture in Odori Park,Sapporo during Sapporo Snow Festival.
"Distance,Collaboration,From Virtual to Real" This is our key words.
